I have a new job at Origins so I’ll have TONS of new stuff to post soon.
Currently using KMS Silk Sheen and I know I like it so I belive its why I went back to using the whole line. Shamps, Contioner, Silk Therapy, Shaping Creme and Shine. LOVE.
I’ve switched back to Light by Sebastian.
I feel the Repair shampoo and conditioner were too heavy for my hair and not what I was looking for..so the search continues! My hair felt weighed down and in general like I couldn’t do too much with it, not what I was looking for. I am willing to give a little when my hair needs it but I also felt like it didn’t do too much to repair what I have going on for damage.
Also..
I believe I’m going to be changing jobs, from Trade Secret to Origins. Something new, and after two years at the Secret, I feel I’ve grown as much as I can with the current managment team we have there. So, next Friday decides my fate on where I go or stay.
But this is just a quick update.

Hey yall,
Sorry its been a few days between posts, you know how things get with work though. Crazy!
I’m trying a new shampoo right now, Alterna Hemp Organics Repair shampoo and conditioner. Comes in these bright crazy yellow bottles and smells like delicious! So far, it seems to make my hair feel soft and silky but I also almost feel like I can’t do too much with it, it feels too heavy. I have a lot of hair but a very fine hair texture so I need something thats going to repair and give me body also and I just feel as if this isn’t doing it for me. Sigh.
I’m going to give it another week though and see where I get because sometimes that makes all the difference in the world, but who knows. Being a hairstylist I feel makes me super picky also and I like the best of the best.
But I need to start getting ready to head out, just a quick update for now!

So, I really dislike intros and plan to keep this pretty simple and quick.
I started this blog because I tend to use a lot of different products and I find that when you’re looking for something new to try, it always helps to have a little bit of info going into it! I’m always open to trying new things and if theres something on the market that you’re curious about trying but aren’t too sure of it, let me know! I’ll see what I can do about fixing that situation and give a good review.

I’m 22 currently, I’m a full time student in beauty school right now and I also work as a part-time makeup artist and Beauty Advisor for a local salon. I LOVE what I do beyond anything else, not only is it rewarding work at the end of the day, it also is fun to try out all the different looks you see in magazines and runway. Growing up, I had always been interested in fashion, makeup, hair and pretty things in general, so after going through many jobs and being unhappy, MAC was looking to hire and guess what! There I was. I unfortantly no longer work there except throughout the holidays but I don’t stray too far colors, since I find their palettes to be the best for colors.
